Meet Scott Hicks:
Veteran Dog Trainer with a Passion for Canine Excellence

Scott is not your average dog trainer. With a distinguished 22-year career in the United States Army, including service in the 82nd Airborne from 1989 to 2011, Scott brings a level of discipline, dedication, and expertise to dog training that is truly unmatched.
​
In 2015, Scott embarked on a new chapter in his career by attending the inaugural class of cargo screener K9s for airlines, a groundbreaking program offered by Global K9 Protection Group. This experience further honed his skills and deepened his passion for working with dogs.
Scott's credentials are as impressive as his experience.

He holds certifications in CCSF, explosives handling, and K9 handler training, showcasing his commitment to excellence in every aspect of his work. His professional journey has taken him to prestigious events and locations, including search & rescue operations, working as a K9 handler at New Orleans Saints games and as a K9 trainer at Chicago O'Hare Airport until June 2022.

Driven by a desire to share his expertise and passion with others, Scott made the decision to move to South Carolina to open his own business. To further enhance his skills, he enrolled in the renowned Tom Rose School in St. Louis, MO. There, he completed the K9 Professionals, Master Trainers Course, and Ultimate Course, solidifying his status as a top-tier dog trainer.

Scott's certifications extend across a wide range of specialties, including training service dogs, detection dogs for narcotics and explosives, PSA work for protection, IJP, AKC obedience trials, tracking, and AKC good citizen evaluation. This diverse skill set allows him to offer comprehensive training programs tailored to the unique needs of each dog and their owner.
